General work terms and client’s responsibilities & liabilities
The client is responsible for supplying all site content, including text and multimedia, to Codtecs before work commences. The client must also back up existing data before authorizing Codtecs to proceed, as Codtecs is not liable for any loss or damage to data.
Artwork, images, or text created by Codtecs on behalf of the client will be the property of Codtecs unless otherwise agreed. The client retains copyright to their data and files but grants Codtecs the rights to publish and use them. The client is responsible for obtaining permissions for third-party copyrighted material.
While Codtecs strives to meet delivery estimates, unforeseen issues may necessitate time adjustments. The client has 7 days to provide feedback on completed work; otherwise, it is deemed accepted. Codtecs is not responsible for alterations made by the client or third parties after deployment.
Codtecs does not accept PayPal and reserves the right to vary prices. A cancellation fee may apply, and project stages progress upon receiving relevant payments. Code ownership transfers to the client post-completion and full payment.
Free support is provided for the first month, followed by paid packages. The client is responsible for third-party licensing and fees. Codtecs does not guarantee 3rd-party product/service accuracy or performance.
Changes outside the initial scope are billed separately. Minor tweaks are accommodated unless abused, in which case additional charges may apply. Any post-approval changes are treated as add-on work and billed accordingly.
Codtecs is not liable for inaccuracies, delays, or errors in website production. The client’s artwork/data damage is excluded from liability. Codtecs is not responsible for third-party service failures.
Project stages progress upon sign-off and payment. Codtecs reserves the right to delay uploading until full payment is received. Code ownership transfers to the client post-completion.
Codtecs aims to complete services within the agreed timescale but may extend due to unforeseen circumstances.
Clients are responsible for any loss or damage related to service usage. Codtecs can terminate rights granted by the Terms of Use. Clients must comply with termination notices. Codtecs is not obligated to review user-submitted content.
Codtecs can modify terms without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review updated terms, and continued use implies acceptance.
